"Hi there! My name is Marla Restaino and I am so very honored to help host a fundraiser for Coping with LM! My daughter Zoey was diagnosed With Laryngomalacia, Inc, at one week old and finding an organization that helps and educates on this topic has been life changing! Coping with Laryngomalacia not only has provided many families with resources and information about LM but they also send out care packages to families whose children have to undergo surgery and need to be hospitalized. Within these care packages are items that can be a comfort to families and children who are going through hospital stays, such as handmade blankets, snacks, toys and books.
Last year I became an Independent Consultant for Usborne Books and More and had been wanting to host a fundraiser where I, with the help of Usborne and Literacy for a Lifetime could donate books to an organization that I felt connected to.
When I saw that Coping with LM was in need of donations for their care packages and that books were a part of the package - I knew this was what I wanted to be a part of!
